Every year a number of Qatari organizations celebrate the occasion of Qatar National Day (18th of December) through a host of activities, lasting for 2 weeks, at the event’s main address, Darb Al-Saai in Doha, Qatar.
To that end, this year ORYX GTL Ltd. has joined hands with the General Directorate of Traffic and Gamyra to present an innovative driving simulation activity to promote road safety awareness among teenagers and young drivers.
The campaign was aimed at youths between 13 and 21 years old and featured one-to-one training sessions for over 1,000 visitors in an immersive driving simulator provided by Gamyra.
Gamyra has worked closely with the traffic department in the past on similar awareness campaigns. The company is known to be the sole manufacturer of advanced driving simulators in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
