We’re ex-Williams F1 engineers who were inspired by how professional simulators are used to train drivers at peak performance and realised how simulation can be an incredible learning tool. We founded Gamyra in 2014 to create immersive simulation experiences to power the future of research, education and training.
Gamyra’s first product was naturally a high-end driving simulator; not for race drivers, but a tool to make everyone safer on the road. We’ve trained 10s of thousands of drivers to-date and gained deep insights into how our simulation platform is saving lives. These drivers experience, interact with and learn from dangerous scenarios like sharing the road with distracted drivers, and dealing with tire blowouts – instead of just reading about them.
Simulation as a training tool shouldn’t be limited to high-end industries like pilot and F1 driver training, or just 10s of thousands of drivers, it should be available to millions across the broader research, education and training market. But the problem is that there is currently no architecture to support simulation-based learning for the average user – so we’re building it! We’re building the tools we wish we had when we first started, and we’re offering them to research, education and training organizations.
We’re already a trusted partner for many, and if you think we can help your organization, please get in touch with us.
