Our story goes back to 2014 when we spun out of Williams F1 and licensed their IP to create an immersive driving simulator for training centres.
We have now developed GamyraDrive into a platform that caters to training, education, research and technical development applications. It has trained 10s of thousands of drivers to date and powered educational projects and driver behaviour research by leading institutions.
GamyraDrive’s success inspired our expansion into the broader immersive experiences space. Built upon the same pillars of immersion and engagement as GamyraDrive, our 2nd platform, GamyraVerse, connects people with ideas and enables more impactful communication through web-based, device-agnostic immersive virtual experiences.
GamyraVerse has a very broad user base; it empowers marketers, artists, innovators, researchers, and educators to engage, interact, collaborate and create a stronger bond with their audience.
Gamyra is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, and has a technology centre in Doha, Qatar.
Founded in 2014 by ex-Williams F1 engineers, Gamyra creates immersive experiences to power the future of research, education and training.
Gamyra’s first product was a high-end driving simulator. It has trained 10s of thousands of drivers to-date and provided Gamyra with deep insights into how to build simulation experiences for the broader research, education and training market.
Gamyra started in Qatar and relocated its main office to Melbourne in 2019 after closing venture funding from Australian investors.
